Bridgestone Tires Reviews by Brian White – Car Mechanic

As a car mechanic I am often enough asked by my customers what the best tires for their cars might be but it is very rare that I get the chance to talk about just one brand of tires like the people from bridgestontiresreviews.com have asked me to do. And I must say that it is a delight to add my opinion to the Bridgestone tires reviews collection they have particularly because I happen to know one of their other specialists, Kevin, and I would like to balance his opinion out.

Not that Bridgestone are not one of the biggest and best tire manufacturers at the moment but the fact is that their truck tires division is their work horse. So if you were to buy a set of truck tires from them you would be doing a good job and a good investment and I’m sure that Kevin has already told you about that.

But if you are looking for passenger tires I think you could do far better than Bridgestone. That is because their tires are just not soft enough to give you the maneuvering and grip capabilities of other tires like Pirelli or Michelin. They are still one of the best tires out there but if you are going to pay that much money why not pay it for the best set of tires available. The truth is you would get about the same quality you would get from the Bridgestone Sport as you would get from the Kumho Ecsta except that with the Kumho you would be paying far less.

I will admit, though, that the Bridgestone Blizzak is a great line of winter tires no matter the size of your car. Even on this point there actually are better tires, that are somewhat better than Bridgestone, like the Pirelli Winter Carving, but Bridgestone will last you much longer and the difference in quality of handling is marginal.
